Again this Year Follina will host the Concert of the “Filarmonici di Roma” along with the famous Uto Ughi.

The concert will take place shortly in the wonderful atmosphere of S. Maria di Follina Abbey, an old cistercian complex dating back to the XII century. Uto Ughi, considered one of the best violinists of the contemporary age, is a true heir to the tradition that saw the birth and flourishing, in Italy, of the first great violin schools.

Uto plays a “Guarnieri del Gesù” from 1744, perhaps one of the most beautiful specimens in existence, with a warm sound and dark timbre, and also a Stradivari from 1701, which is called “Kreutzer” because it belonged to the homonym violinist to whom Beethoven dedicated his famous Sonata.

For the occasion we offer a package which permits to attend at the concert, visit the treasures of the nearby area and taste the enogastronomic delights of Trevisan cuisine.

Not to be missed: dine next to the Maestro on the evenings before the event, with the possibility to know him in person.
